Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Potatoes (Easy, Weight Watchers-Friendly Dinner)
This is one of those meals I make when I need something quick, filling, and still aligned with my weight loss.
It feels like a “real dinner,” not diet food—and my kids will actually eat it. That alone makes it a repeat in our house.
The best part? Most of this meal is 0 points on Weight Watchers, so I can have a generous portion and still stay on track.
Why this works in real life

Weight Watchers Points (Approximate)
This is why I love this meal so much:
Steak: 0 points
Potatoes: 0 points
Sauce: about 3 points total
👉 I usually have about 1.5 servings, and it still fits into my day easily.
Points may vary slightly based on brands and portions.
How I make this work for weight loss
I don’t do anything extreme—I just keep it realistic:
I don’t hold back on potatoes since they’re 0 points
I focus on protein so I stay full
I keep the sauce controlled (that’s where the points are)
I’ll add a veggie if I need more volume
This is one of those meals that helps me stay consistent without feeling restricted.
Real life note
This isn’t a “perfect” meal—and that’s exactly why it works.
It’s simple, it’s filling, and it’s something I can make on a busy night without overthinking it.
And if my kids eat it without complaining… it’s staying in the rotation.
